Battledress Blouses, Serge, Irish Guards

An early example of the first type blouse with unlined collar, clear maker label dated February 1940. Major’s crowns to epaulettes, woven Irish Guards shoulder titles and printed formation signs for 45th (Wessex) Division. Also came with an officers shirt and map case named to R.C. Hubbard. The shirt is not in particular good condition but still displays well under the BD. The map case still has some chinagraph pencil markings from an exercise in Kent.
