First Pattern Jungle Boots
Early example of the jungle boots that appeared with 1944 pattern clothing. Differing from the later type in that they are in brown canvas and have standard lace eyelets, not speed lacing. Maker marked inside BATA 1945, size 9. Overall in very good condition, the only flaw is the rubber seal between upper and sole has deteriorated slightly in places, also, although the laces are period, they are not quite long enough to go to the top.
