WW2 1940 Pattern Battledress Trousers, 1943

A clean pair of 40/Austerity pattern battledress trousers of British manufacture, no label but clear WD acceptance stamp with ‘N’ for 1943. These were a larger size but have been taken in at the waist. This has been done professionally and I believe it is a period modification. Dark brown exposed buttons but with brass type in the concealed fly and on the waistband for braces. Approx 30Wx31L, could probably be let back out for a larger waist if required.
