WW2 Lt.Col. Battledress, 14th Army, DSO, possibly SOE
37 pattern battledress blouse with insignia for a Lt. Colonel, 14th Army. Medal ribbons include the DSO, also service between the war in India and NW Frontier, War Medal also has the oak leaf emblem for MiD. Above the medal ribbons is an Indian made parachute qualification wing on dark blue/black backing, wearing them in this position usually signifies work with SOE, there are also feint marks where a wing has previously been worn in the usual position on the right sleeve. Clear maker marks and label, dated 1942. Overall in very good used condition but with a couple of moth nips/holes. See pics
