Early Battle Dress, Blouse, Serge, 1940, Large

Early pattern of BD blouse with unlined collar and concealed brass buttons. Maker label inside with WD stamps and ‘Q’ for 1940, marked as a size 15 which is quite large. Each sleeve has the printed insignia consisting of Home Guard titles and county designations HTS/5 which was the Harpenden battalion. This blouse is in exceptional condition, very clean throughout and no obvious damage or moth, hard to better. In one of the pockets is a creased and folded leaflet on rifle training dated 1943, in poor condition but included with the jacket.
