Pre WW2 Aluminium Mess Tins, 1939

A matched pair of the first type mess tins designed for the 37 Pattern equipment. Aluminium body with blackened steel handles held in place with a riveted aluminium plate, both stamped S&H Ltd 1939. The handles are longer than the later patterns and the tin body has much squarer corners. Both in very good used condition.
