Monsoon Sou’wester Hat, Burma used

One of the strangest items that I’ve had for a while. Made in the style of a naval sou’wester hat but in khaki canvas, possibly kit bag or tent material. I got this from an estate sale with other items and the family told me their fathers unit had these made in Burma in the monsoon season
