GS Cap, REME

Khaki wool General Service cap fitted with an economy plastic cap badge for the Royal Electrical & Mechanical Engineers, badge has a Perspex backing. Maker marked S&P Harris Ltd and dated 1944, soldiers initials and numbers added in indelible pencil. Has a few small holes but otherwise a nice example
