Somerset ARP Battledress with Battle Honour

Blouses CD Type 57, dated 1942, WW1 medal ribbons above pocket and red wound stripe to left sleeve denoting a wound in WW1. CD breast badge with Somerset title, below this a silk woven title for Beckenham. Later in the war many CD personal from Somerset volunteered to go to London and Kent to assist with the V1 rocket attacks, this extra title was awarded as a type of battle honour. Also with yellow lanyard and ARP whistle in pocket.
