MkIII Compass, LRDG Attributed

Standard issue compass in it’s private purchase brown leather case. To the flap impressed owner’s details, A.M. HAY, COLDSTREAM GUARDS. Research shows that Captain A.M. Hay was a member of G1 Patrol, LRDG in the North African campaign. Compass and pouch both in worn used condition, compass appears to be working but has an are bubble so may not be accurate.
