Battledress Blouse, REME, 5th Division
Original BD blouse of Canadian manufacture, maker stamps inside and dated 1943. Printed shoulder titles for Royal Electrical Mechanical Engineers, printed formation signs, and felt arm of service strips, medal ribbons to left chest for 1939-45, Italy, and France & Germany Stars. Standard khaki wool pullover shirt, maker marked on collar RHSR with government arrow and dated 1943, size marked as 6, measures approx 22” across the chest. Good overall condition but with a couple of small snags. read more

Standard khaki wool pullover shirt with two chest pockets and epaulettes, appears to be of Indian manufacture with feint stamps inside, this has also had a cotton collar attached. Measures approx 23” across the chest. read more
Somerset ARP Battledress with Battle Honour
Blouses CD Type 57, dated 1942, WW1 medal ribbons above pocket and red wound stripe to left sleeve denoting a wound in WW1. CD breast badge with Somerset title, below this a silk woven title for Beckenham. Later in the war many CD personal from Somerset volunteered to go to London and Kent to assist with the V1 rocket attacks, this extra title was awarded as a type of battle honour. Royal Marine Officer’s Blue Beret
Mid war beret by Supak Manufacturing, with red tombstone behind the two part badge and large half moon reinforcing inside, unfortunately the date stamp in unclear. Named to Capt. W.E. Petley. Research shows he was part of MNBDO in 1940 and later in the war was an Assistant Instructor of Small Arms. read more
