Blackened crowns and RB shoulder titles with black horn regimental pattern horn buttons, each sleeve has an embroidered formation sign for the Special Service Group, this flash replaced the Combined Ops badge for Commando troops towards the end of WW2. Field Service cap in smooth khaki cloth, fitted with a small pattern Somerset Light Infantry cap badge and GS buttons, the buttons have been sewn on upside down in error. Overall this is in very good used condition but due to sweat/grease marks inside has no visible maker marks, size, or dates visible. Measures approx 11”/28cm along the bottom edge. read more
