Standard issue compass in it’s private purchase brown leather case. To the flap impressed owner’s details, A.M. HAY, COLDSTREAM GUARDS. Research shows that Captain A.M. Hay was a member of G1 Patrol, LRDG in the North African campaign. Compass and pouch both in worn used condition, compass appears to be working but has an are bubble so may not be accurate. read more

Scarce triple magazine pouch for the M1 Carbine. Locally made in green canvas with quick release tabs, compatible with 44 pattern equipment. Good used condition but with some slight marks from use and storage. read more
Whitley Bag, 1943
Airborne ‘sleeping bag’ as used in transport aircraft and sometimes on the ground. This example is exceptional condition, only minor wear to the base and with very bright colours still to the camouflage. Looks hardly used. There is a maker’s stamp for Waring & Gillow, dated 1943.
